Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment is actively seeking a Year 4 Teacher for a for an excellent educational institution nestled in the Bridlington area.

As a Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to students in the early years of their academic journey. Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents, you will create engaging and enriching learning experiences that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.

This role is offered on a part time basis to cover up to 5 days per week to commence from September 2024 until the end of the Autumn term, with possible extension until the end of the year, dependent on school requirements.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that align with the curriculum and educational objectives.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning journey.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to guide their development and inform instructional decisions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and integrate technology into teaching and learning.
  • Establish effective communication and partnerships with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and encouraging parental involvement in their child’s education.
  • Foster a love of learning through engaging activities, hands-on experiences, and meaningful connections to real-world contexts.



  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of primary curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and resources.
  • Reflective practitioner mindset, with a willingness to engage in continuous professional development and growth.
