Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment are currently seeking experienced and compassionate teaching assistants to join our supply team to work on both daily and long term bookings at local schools across the Hull and East Riding areas.

You will collaborate closely with the class teacher and other staff members, actively participating in the planning, execution, and assessment of the learning curriculum. Your responsibilities will involve working within classrooms or designated areas, where you’ll provide supervision and guidance to both groups and individual students. Previous experience in engaging with secondary school students will be highly beneficial in this role.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

Ø Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, at level 2 or level 3

Ø Relevant experience working with young people aged 11-18 years

Ø Enthusiastic and ability to adapt to difficult situations

Ø Calm, resilient and able to communicate well with young people

Ø Confident in your behaviour management skills
