James Ray Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a wide range of local schools in the Hull and surrounding areas, seeking dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistants to support on a supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of students across various local schools in the area, James Ray Recruitment are pleased to be able to offer opportunities in both Primary and Secondary education settings.
As an experienced Teaching assistant, you will support students in their learning by either working with individuals or groups of students with additional needs. You will also contribute to the assessment, planning, recording, monitoring, and reporting of students’ progress. This would suit candidates who are motivated, patient with a calm nature, having great verbal communication skills and a passion for making a difference.
Working on a supply basis will enable you the ultimate in flexibility – you decide the days and hours you are looking to work. With a combination of ad hoc and longer-term roles, you’ll also have the opportunity to experience various settings and broaden your experiences.
You will need to hold GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics as a minimum to apply and have recent and relevant classroom experience. You will have high expectations of work and behaviour; be able to work effectively in a team and be flexible, as well as being able to show initiative.
