James Ray Recruitment is actively searching for dedicated Secondary School Supply Teachers to join our team on a flexible basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide crucial support to a range of secondary schools and academies throughout the Thirsk and North Yorkshire area. As a Supply Teacher with James Ray Recruitment, you’ll have the flexibility to select your preferred working hours and locations. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless learning experiences for secondary students, stepping in across different subjects and year groups when regular teachers are unavailable. Whether you’re covering short-term absences or undertaking longer assignments, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining educational standards and continuity for students.

Key Duties:

  • Provide invaluable support to schools and academies in the Whitby and the North Yorkshire area.
  • Adapt seamlessly to various Key Stages, ensuring a smooth transition into different classroom environments.
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching experiences to uphold educational standards in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by effectively engaging with students.
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and administration to meet the individual needs of students and support educational goals.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Previous experience in primary education settings is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to different teaching environments and Key Stages.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate varying hours and locations.
  • A strong commitment to upholding educational standards and supporting student learning.
