James Ray Recruitment is working with an outstanding school based on the outskirts of Selby who are looking to employ a qualified Spanish Teacher or ECT, who can teach Spanish to KS5. You will support the Subject Leader in raising standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the MFL curriculum area in line with national and school policies/priorities. This is a full-time timetable in which you will be covering on a long-term placement for the remainder of the academic year. The ideal start date will be February 2023.
The successful candidate will be able to engage, inspire and challenge pupils across the full range of ability. The candidate must be driven by ensuring that pupils receive an outstanding education which is reflected in outstanding pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will gain a wealth of experience, including working alongside an outstanding MFL department in an outstanding school.
Expectations from the trust is you must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT) will also be considered for the role, and support will be provided. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.
Who is the ideal candidate?
· You will want to transform children’s lives and develop a love of Spanish
· Have experience in teaching GCSE Spanish
· Have a relevant teaching qualification.
· Be able to understand and apply a range of teaching strategies.
· Be able to positively target and support individual learning needs.
