James Ray Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a firm with significant presence in Yorkshire’s highly competitive legal market and are recognised as specialists at a national level in a number of legal sectors. An excellent opportunity has arisen within the firm for a Senior Private Client Fee Earner to join their team in York. The team is one of the largest in the region and a significant proportion of their caseload is through repeat business and personal recommendation. They cover all types of Private Client work and their client base is varied, including a number of successful and high net worth individuals.

Key Duties:

You can really make the role your own but will have the opportunity to work on a range of matters including:

Estate planning
Drafting wills
Administration of trusts
Non-contentious probate and administration
Lasting and enduring powers of attorneys

We can also offer the chance to be more involved in the management side of the team, working closely with the Head of, and helping support our more junior team members through mentoring if this is something that you would be keen to develop.

What we are looking for:

We need someone who will fit in well with our existing team and develop a great relationship with our clients. Our ideal candidate will have:

A good range of solid Private Client experience – ideally 5 years + PQE
A positive, commercial approach to delivering legal advice
The ability to develop a good rapport with clients
Superb levels of client care
Some experience in successful Business Development and Marketing initiatives
