James Ray Recruitment are delighted to be working with a thriving specialist law firm, with a national reputation for advising individuals, charities and other not-for-profit organisations, local authorities, public-sector bodies and businesses throughout the UK.

Our client is looking for a Senior Conveyancer to join their Third Sector Property Team. This is not your typical conveyancing role, the team works with charities, faith-based organisations, and social enterprises, providing a highly personalised and meaningful service in residential property transactions. (You don’t need prior experience working with charities or faith organisations – full training will be provided).

Key Duties:

Quality over quantity – Manage a caseload of 15-20 new matters per month, allowing you to focus on exceptional client service.
Dedicated support – While this role is self-supporting, you will have access to a collaborative and experienced team.
Specialist work with a purpose – You’ll handle residential purchases and sales for charities, faith groups, and social businesses, making a real impact.
Hybrid working – Enjoy flexibility while being part of a supportive and purpose-driven team.

Proven experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload (both freehold and leasehold).
Experience in transfers of equity, lease extensions, and acting for mortgagees is beneficial.
Strong client relationship skills – our success is built on trust and service excellence.
Ability to work independently, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
