SEN Teaching Assistant

James Ray Recruitment are supporting a local school in the East Riding area, near to the local town of Market Weighton to recruit an exceptional SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team to support their class teachers with providing a world class education to their pupils. The post holder will promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop as well as being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school. Within this role, the school are looking for experienced Teaching assistants who are comfortable with some personal care, who are empathetic and able to support student across all of their lessons in school. It is important that you have a good understanding of SEND within a mainstream schools and experience working with students with special educational needs would be highly desired.
This is a full time position covering on a long-term, term time only. The proposed start of September 2023 but the trust is willing to secure the best fit candidate for the role. This trust requires you to hold a Teaching Assistant qualification, at level 2 or level 3.
