SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment are looking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant with experience of working with students with SEN to join a fantastic local primary school in the Brough area. Teaching assistants will support students in their learning by either working with individuals or groups of students. You will also contribute to the assessment, planning, recording, monitoring, and reporting of students’ progress. This would suit candidates who are motivated, patient with a calm nature, having great verbal communication skills and a passion for making a difference.
You will need to hold GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics as a minimum to apply and have recent and relevant classroom experience working with children with Special Educational Needs. You will have high expectations of work and behaviour; be able to work effectively in a team and be flexible, as well as being able to show initiative.
