Cover Supervisor

James Ray Recruitment are offering a unique opportunity to start a career within education. We are looking to recruit multiple individuals to work as a cover supervisor with local schools in the Scunthorpe and surrounding North Lincolnshire area.
We are looking for candidates with a background in tutoring or classroom support coupled with the confidence to manage a classroom on a cover basis for temporary and long-term contracts. The ideal candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to deliver pre-set work to a good standard.
At James Ray Recruitment, you will have the opportunity to attend a fantastic online course, ran by an experienced educator who will give a detailed insight into working in the classroom to help you feel prepared for the role.
Previous experience working with children or young adults is preferable but not essential as full training provided on the course. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your journey within Education.

This position has arisen at an exciting time, with science taught across all three key stages, including all three sciences being offered at A Level. Teacher of English as an Additional Language

James Ray Recruitment is looking for an exceptional Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join its friendly and hardworking team and ensure that our EAL students, with varying levels of EAL need, but uniformly high levels of academic ability, are able to fully access the curriculum. You will be working within a large secondary school based in Scunthorpe.

Initially teaching pupils in KS3, you will lead EAL teaching, developing schemes of work that encourage curiosity and confidence and planning lessons that engage, excite, and inspire.
