James Ray are proud to be currently working with a client who is looking to recruit an experience Science Teacher to join their forward-thinking and successful department based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly-motivated group of students and colleagues, where your contribution to the Science Faculty and the school as a whole, will be valued. The successful candidate with provide the highest standard of education for the students in the school, and you will be pivotal in ensuring this. We are seeking to recruit a passionate and empathetic Science Teacher. You will need to be flexible, possess a variety of skills and be willing to undertake a variety of activities with KS3/4 students, and be very approachable.
This role is offered on a full time basis covering on a long-term placement to commence ASAP until April 2024. This role is to be carried out during term time only. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

· Have experience teaching across the sciences in Key Stage 3 & Key stage 4

· Is passionate about education and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.

· Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team.

· Willingness to show commitment to the school’s vision and values.

· Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the students.
