We are looking for an experienced Science Teacher to join a Whitby based school, recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. As a Science Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.
The successful candidate with provide the highest standard of education for the students in the school, and you will be pivotal in ensuring this. We are seeking to recruit a passionate and empathetic Science Teacher. You will need to be flexible, possess a variety of skills and be willing to undertake a variety of activities with KS3/4 students, and be very approachable.
This role is 5 days per week, covering on a long-term placement to commence January 2024 until July 2024. You must hold a QTS and has the experience teaching Biology to KS4. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.
Open to applications from Newly Qualified Teachers/Early Careers Teachers (NQT/ECT).

· Have experience teaching across the sciences in Key Stage 3 & Key stage 4

· Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.

· Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team.

· Willingness to show commitment to the school’s vision and values.

· Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the students.
