Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment are delighted to be working with an expanding practice with strong roots in Skipton, Keighley and Bradford, serving businesses and private clients throughout the Aire Valley and into the Yorkshire Dales. Our client is seeking a residential property solicitor or conveyancer with at least five years of experience.
The role will be based at their Skipton office and you must be able to demonstrate experience across all areas of residential conveyancing.

Key Duties:

Attend to clients of the Firm on a regular basis
Drafting and approving various legal documentation
Conduct legal research where appropriate
Sale contract issues
Dealing with post completion matters
Sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfer of equity and some right to buy matters
Networking with clients with the aim of increasing the current presence of the Residential Conveyancing department
Resolving complex and technical queries
Managing an agreed caseload of clients in consultation with the Partners
To run all conveyancing procedures on the firm’s case management system whilst providing an excellent level of client care
Handling a caseload of residential property files to include sale and purchase files and shared ownership, help to buy, remortgage and equity
Undertaking all aspects including freehold/leasehold sales and purchase, transfer of equity, buy to let, first buy, new builds and re-mortgages
Freehold and leasehold titles
Managing own caseload
Be actively involved in business development activities.
