Plumbing Supervisor

Key Duties:

• Supervise and lead a team of plumbers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Plan and schedule plumbing projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Oversee installations, maintenance, and repair work for a range of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties.
• Perform quality checks on all completed work to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical expertise to the team.
• Manage and monitor stock levels of materials and equipment, ensuring the team has the necessary resources.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other contractors to ensure clear communication and efficient progress on projects.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards, company policies, and plumbing regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders, timesheets, and reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a qualified plumber with supervisory or management experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installations, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Full UK driving license.

Desirable:

• Gas Safe certification or experience with heating systems.
• Experience with larger commercial plumbing projects.
