Unqualified Science Teacher

We are working with a secondary school based in Pickering who are looking to appoint an Unqualified Science Teacher who could be looking to learn new skills prior to a teacher training course.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn by working in forward-thinking Science department. Many of our candidates who start out as Unqualified Teachers go on to complete their teacher training and secure permanent contracts with their school.
This school looking for someone who has a minimum of a Science degree, 2:1 or above. This is a full-time post with a minimum 1-year fixed term contract starting February 2023.

Science Teacher

We are looking for an experienced Science Teacher to join a Pickering based school recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. As a Science Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

The successful candidate with provide the highest standard of education for the students in the school, and you will be pivotal in ensuring this. We are seeking to recruit a passionate and empathetic Science Teacher. You will need to be flexible, possess a variety of skills and be willing to undertake a variety of activities with KS3/4 students, and be very approachable.

This role is 3 days per week, covering on a long-term placement for 1 term initially. The ideal start date is January 2023 with the school willing to extend to secure the best candidate for their students. You must hold a QTS and has the experience teaching Biology to KS4. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.
