Job Description:

As a Performing Arts teacher you will predominantly deliver to the KS3 and KS4 students across school and will prepare pupils for their GCSE exams. Within this role you will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons in performing arts that engage all pupils and provide an opportunity to develop skills and techniques associated with both subjects.

This is a part time timetable during term time only, covering 4 days per week on a long-term ongoing basis with the ideal start date being May 2024. ECT’s who are looking to gain valuable experience or experienced subject specialists with high standards of teaching and learning and a strong sense of community built around the shared values of responsibility, respect and resilience are encouraged to apply. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Have experience teaching Performing Arts in Key Stage 3 & Key stage 4
  • Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team
  • Willingness to show commitment to the school’s vision and values
  • Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the students
