Are you a passionate Performing Arts educator seeking flexible and temporary work? Our esteemed partner school in Grimsby is searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic Supply Performing Arts Teacher to join their team on a part-time and temporary basis.

About the Role:
As a Supply Performing Arts Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the world of performing arts, delivering dynamic lessons that ignite creativity and foster a love for the arts. You’ll cover within the performing arts department, providing continuity of learning and maintaining a supportive environment for students to explore their talents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in performing arts, including drama, music, and dance.
• Support students in developing their performance skills, confidence, and creativity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the performing arts curriculum.
• Organize and facilitate rehearsals, performances, and extracurricular activities as required.
• Provide feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential in performing arts.

This is a part time timetable during term time only, covering 3 days per week on a long-term ongoing basis with the ideal start date being September 2024. ECT’s who are looking to gain valuable experience or experienced subject specialists with high standards of teaching and learning and a strong sense of community built around the shared values of responsibility, respect and resilience are encouraged to apply. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Have experience teaching Performing Arts in Key Stage 3 & Key stage 4.
  • Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team.
  • Willingness to show commitment to the school’s vision and values.
  • Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the students.
