James Ray Recruitment are seeking to appoint a dynamic, passionate, and innovative teacher of PE to join a popular and outstanding Department within a fantastic school based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be an outstanding teacher. They will also have the ability to inspire a fantastic school of bright and curious students, enabling them to realise their potential. You will have a passion for sport but also the wider importance of exercise for health and wellbeing. You will hold and embody the highest expectations of your students and will have the drive and ambition to further develop an outstanding environment for learning and achievement.
This role represents a unique opportunity to join a thriving PE Department, which boasts outstanding GCSE results and is richly supported by an extra-curricular programme.
This role is offered on a part time, ongoing basis to be carried out during term time only. The school are looking for the successful candidate to join them from January 2024. You must hold QTS and has the experience teaching delivering both practical and theory-based PE up to KS4. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?
· Be a qualified PE teacher (ideally with a PGCE and QTS).
· Have previous experience working as a PE Teacher (minimum of six months).
· Be a someone who inspires others by being passionate and highly driven.
· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed PE Department
· Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
