James Ray Recruitment are seeking a qualified and skilled PE Teacher to work within a leading academy school based in North Lincolnshire. This truly is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join their thriving department from January 2024 on a term time only basis, ideal for either an ECT or an experienced teacher. This is a fantastic role that offers not only the support from the Academy itself, but also the support across the Trust; they have a bespoke ECT programme available within the academy and across the wider Trust that our successful candidate will benefit from.
The department is comprised of experienced, enthusiastic, and engaging teachers. You would be joining a friendly, professional team who are passionate about their subject and committed to academic excellence. The department is heavily committed to extra-curricular activities which help to promote the subject to its current successful position. Sports facilities include a sports hall, dance studio with sprung floor and a fitness studio which includes equipment such as treadmills, bikes and rowing machines as well as extensive fields and outdoor areas.
You must hold QTS and has the experience teaching delivering both practical and theory-based PE up to KS4. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience. This role is looking to commence January 2024 working 5 days per week lasting a minimum of a term. This role is term time only.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?
· Be a qualified PE teacher (ideally with a PGCE and QTS).
· Have previous experience working as a PE Teacher (minimum of six months).
· Be a someone who inspires others by being passionate and highly driven.
· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed PE Department
· Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
