Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment are working with GW Power, a leading M&E company based in East Yorkshire who are looking to appoint multiple Mechanical estimators.

Due to significant growth, the company will now be opening a new site based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. GW power is a well-established and forward-thinking multi discipline contractor. Our core competencies encompass M&E Building Services, building decarbonisation, and the installation of renewables.

GW Power is embarking on an exciting journey of growth, and their recent successes in securing and delivering successful projects through various frameworks and contracts demonstrate this.

Key Duties:

Manage and respond to tender enquiries.
Review enquiries and prepare take-offs from drawings.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations.
Full support from the estimating team and management.
Working closely as a team with other estimators to prepare tenders to meet deadlines and occasionally cost budgets.
Working with the wider GW team to provide an excellent service.
Preparation of quotations from small day to day works to large projects.
Attending site visits/surveys/meetings to ensure a compliant bid.

Essential Requirements

Previous work experience in Commercial Electrical Building Services.
Be computer literate and be confident learning new CRM and estimating software.
Full UK driving license.
Able to work within a team or independently.
Have a can-do, positive attitude.
Be flexible and adaptable to a wide variety of work
