James Ray Recruitment are working with GW Power to appoints an experienced M&E Design Engineer. With a focus on renewable technologies, in this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E systems including renewable energy projects. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and other engineering teams to develop sustainable and energy-efficient designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key Duties:

  • Design and develop mechanical, electrical and renewable systems, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for designs.
  • Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design with existing infrastructure.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support during project implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving design issues.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies enhance design capabilities.

 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in M&E design with renewables in advantageous.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
