James Ray Recruitment are searching for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and inspirational Teacher of Maths to join a thriving and successful school based in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

The Maths department is both innovative and supportive with a history of strong results at KS4 and 5, focused on inspiring children to reflect, learn, and achieve.
This school looking for someone who holds QTS and has the experience teaching Maths up to KS3 & KS4. Good levels of behaviour management are an essential requirement within this role. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.
This role is offered on a full-time basis to commence ASAP and continue until the end of December 2023 with a possible extension depending on the schools needs.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?
· Have experience teaching Maths in Key Stage 3 & 4
· Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter.
· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Maths Teachers.
· Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
