Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment is actively seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support multiple secondary schools and academies on a supply basis in and around the Doncaster area.
We have seen an increased demand for support staff in secondary schools, and we are particularly interested in recruiting individuals who are looking to take the next step in their careers by working towards becoming unqualified teachers.
This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious candidates who have a passion for education and aspire to develop their teaching skills. As a teaching assistant, you will gain valuable experience supporting pupils and working alongside teachers to deliver lessons. In some cases, you may be required to lead small group activities or support students on a 1:1 basis. This experience will provide an ideal foundation for those interested in progressing towards a teaching role.
The needs of the children can vary, and in some cases, students may have complex learning difficulties. Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach are essential qualities for this role.
We are currently seeking candidates who can commit to full-time positions to support schools until the end of the academic year.

Key Duties:

What We’re Looking For: We seek passionate educators who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will:

Hold a current DBS registered on the update service to meet safeguarding requirements or be willing to apply for a new one.
Have experience in a classroom environment, ideally in a secondary school setting.
Demonstrate a genuine interest in progressing toward a teaching career.
Show a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children.
Possess a calm, reassuring nature and excellent communication skills.
Maintain a positive attitude with a flexible and enthusiastic approach to their work.
Be eligible to work in the UK.
