Job Description:

Experience in developing an exciting curriculum & enhancing learner understand the subject is essential surrounding KS3 English.

This is a full-time timetable, covering on a long-term Maternity placement across 2 terms with a proposed start of February 2023. This school looking for someone who holds QTS and has the experience teaching English up to KS4 & KS5. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate good levels of behaviour management. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Have experience teaching English in Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
  • Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of an outstanding English department
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
