Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment is currently seeking Key Stage 1 Teachers to join our team on a supply basis, catering to a diverse array of schools and Academies spanning the Liverpool and Wirral regions. With a surge in demand for support in areas such as training days, PPA cover, and unforeseen absences, we anticipate a variety of ad hoc and long-term requirements to commence from Jan 2025.

Collaborating closely with multiple schools within Liverpool and the Wirral, we welcome applications from both newly qualified and seasoned educators. This presents a unique opportunity to discover roles that offer a more balanced work-life dynamic, given the flexibility inherent in supply work. Our range of positions is tailored to accommodate various preferences and needs.

Remuneration is structured on a daily rate, ranging from £120 to £225 per day, contingent upon experience. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

Evidence of continuing professional teacher development and to continue to learn.
To have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
The ability to inspire children to reach their full potential.
Experience of teaching in Key stage 1
Full UK driving license would be a distinct advantage.
Hold valid QTS or equivalent.
A strength and passion to teach this age group.
Prepare and plan for teaching, taking account of the requirements children of all abilities.
Prepare and develop, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements.
Be able to provide feedback and guidance to pupils and their parents in an engaging way that encourages continuous learning at home.
