James Ray Recruitment are working with a ‘Good’ rated secondary school in Hull who are looking for a dynamic individual to join a collaborative Humanities department in the role of Teacher of Humanities. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering a Humanities curriculum. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape an engaging and challenging curriculum as the schools aims to produce an exceptional curriculum that serves the pupils in our community.
This is a full-time timetable, covering on a long-term basis starting October 2023. This school looking for someone who holds QTS and has the experience teaching Humanities up to KS4 & KS5. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?
  • Have experience teaching Humanities in Key Stage 4 & Key stage 5
  • Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a outstanding Humanities department
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
