James Ray Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity for a humanities Teacher to join a well-respected school in the Grimsby area.

This school is known locally for its strong performance. We’re seeking an engaging Humanities teacher who can teach up to Key Stage 4, with a solid grasp of history, geography, and social sciences. If you’re dedicated to supporting students and enjoy delivering quality education, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time role, covering a long-term placement starting from September 2024. The school requires a candidate with QTS and experience teaching Humanities up to KS4 & KS5. The salary ranges from MPS1 to MPS6, £25,174 to £36,961, depending on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Have experience teaching Humanities in Key Stage 4 & Key stage 5
  • Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a outstanding Humanities department
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
