Job Description:

The position is a long-term, temporary placement for one year, with a proposed start date of September 2024. The ideal candidate should hold QTS and have experience teaching English up to KS4 and KS5. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate good levels of behaviour management. The salary ranges from MPS1 to MPS6, £25,174 to £36,961, depending on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Have experience teaching English in Key Stage 4 & Key stage 5
  • Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a outstanding English department
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
