Electrical Engineer

Key Duties:

• Designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems, focusing on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analysing electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Directing and coordinating manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
• Using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Supervising or training project team members as necessary.
• Estimating material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes.

Essential:

• Full clean UK driving license.
• Installation, servicing and breakdown experience
• Able to work within a team or independently.
• Have a can-do, positive attitude.
• Be flexible and adaptable to a wide variety of work

Desirable:

• Previous experience in domestic and commercial settings.
• Good communicator with excellent organisation skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Able to work in a fast paced and busy environment.
• Valid CSCS card.
• IPAF & PASMA licences.
