James Ray Recruitment are working with GW Power who are actively recruiting for a Document Controller.

This role would suit someone highly organised with a keen eye for detail and someone that is confident to work alongside their Operations Director with day-to-day administrative tasks. This role would also suit a person interested in compliance and appreciates operational processes.

Key Duties:

  • Work closely with the Operations Director to assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Manage the administration of the Quality Management System, working with the Operations Director.
  • Liaise with our outsourced IT support to resolve issues. This will involve logging issues to report to the technicians upon their weekly visits. Keeping track of their work and following up where needed.
  • Onboard new suppliers through our assessment procedure.
  • Work with Contract Managers to process competency documentation such as Risk Assessments, Insurances and Health and Safety Documentation.
  • Manage the companies’ accreditations, such as CHAS and Constructionline.
  • Monitor company contracts and services, such as office waste service and fire extinguishers.

 

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with ISO 9001 accreditation.
  • Experience within the M&E/Construction/Building Service Industry

 

Essential Criteria

  • Strong IT Skills.
  • Experience with a fast-paced operational processes.
  • Highly organised.
  • Positive, can do attitude.
