James Ray Recruitment are looking for an individual who can inspire the next generation of graphic designers. If you are a Design Technology Teacher with a Graphics focus, we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for you. We are working with a ‘Good’ East Riding based secondary school who are looking for a someone to join their department on a full-time basis, term only for 1 initial term but may extend to beyond this, starting after the October half term 2023.
You will be responsible for teaching Graphic Design to KS4. You will be expected to do planning, preparing, and marking work, ensure that the pupils are on track to hit their projected grades and prepare them for exams.
This school looking for someone who holds QTS for this position and can demonstrate good levels of behaviour management. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Design Technology Teachers.
  • Have a passion for education with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
