Are you a passionate and creative DT Teacher with a drive to inspire the next generation?
James Ray Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and committed Design and Technology Teacher to join a fantastic school based in North Yorkshire. Whether you’re an experienced educator or an enthusiastic ECT, we want to hear from you!
As a DT Teacher you’ll have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging and innovative lessons that ignite curiosity, encourage creativity, and develop practical and technical skills.
Our client is currently looking for the successful candidate to join them after the Easter break until early May with a strong possibility for extension.

Key Duties:

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge across the DT curriculum
  • Ability to plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons
  • Passion for developing students’ skills in design, making, and problem-solving
  • A commitment to inclusion, progress, and student wellbeing
  • Experience or interest in a DT specialism (e.g., product design, textiles, food, or engineering) is desirable
  • Right to work in the UK.
