Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment are looking to appoint a teacher of Computer Science to join a secondary school based in Scarborough. The role will involve teaching Computing and Digital Media at KS4 to GCSE level and KS3 Computing and ICT. You will be working within a fantastic school, with a supportive SLT and has recently received a ‘Good’ school rating as judged by Ofsted.
The role has a proposed start of November 2023 and will be covering over 3 days a week on an ongoing basis, during term time only. This school looking for someone who holds QTS and has the experience teaching Computing and ICT up to KS3/KS4 students. The salary is MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

· Have experience teaching Computer Science in Key Stage 4 & Key stage 5

· Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.

· Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team.

· Willingness to show commitment to the school’s vision and values.

· Has a desire and passion for education and can make a real difference to the students.
