As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances in a range of commercial properties. This role involves working closely with clients, diagnosing faults, and ensuring all work complies with current gas safety standards.

Key Duties:

  • Install, service, and repair commercial gas systems and appliances.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of gas appliances to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commercial heating systems, boilers, and other gas equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with gas safety regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation for each job, including reports, service records, and compliance certificates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs promptly.
  • Liaise with other team members and departments to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and repairs as required.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Commercial Gas Engineering (e.g., Gas Safe registered).
  • Strong experience working with commercial gas systems and equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of current gas safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.

 

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications such as LPG, Oil, or Domestic Gas certification.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and controls.
