Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment are delighted to be working with an exceptional law firm to recruit for a Personal Injury / Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their Child Brain Injury team. Our client offers benefits which are market leading, alongside offering a friendly and inclusive environment.

The candidate:
Up to 2 years PQE
Have experience of working on high value, multi-track catastrophic personal injury and/or clinical negligence cases (ideally on behalf of claimants) and be confident in dealing with sensitive injury issues. Experience gained in progressing brain injury claims will be highly advantageous;
Have an excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and protocols;
Be hard working, energetic and sociable, with excellent IT, administrative and research skills;
Be able to demonstrate a commitment to charity partnerships and developing the business of the firm.

Key Duties:

Run a caseload of Clinical Negligence matters from start to finish
Attend meetings and conferences with clients, counsel, barristers and experts
Review files and establish liability and quantum
Ensuring medical evidence is collected and allocated to the case to ensure the case can be progressed efficiently
Drafting legal documents including letters of instruction and letters of claim
Progress the cases according to company targets
Exceptional attention to detail
