Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment are delighted to be working with an established Law firm who are looking for an ambitious Litigation Solicitor to join their highly reputable team based in the Birmingham area.

The successful candidate will handle a variety of civil disputes, providing legal advice and representation for clients in matters including but not limited to contract disputes, property disputes, negligence claims, and personal injury cases.

Meet and liaise with clients.
Issue court procedures.
Draft witness statements.
Prepare legal documents.
Attend and represent clients in court when requested.
Gather evidence to support the client’s case.

Key Duties:

Qualified Solicitor (ideally with 2+ years PQE in civil litigation).
Strong knowledge of civil procedure rules, relevant statutes, and case law.
Excellent advocacy skills with experience in court appearances.
Strong drafting and legal research abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to clients in an understandable manner.
Ability to manage a demanding caseload and work under pressure.
A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
A proactive and results-driven attitude.
