Job Description:

James Ray Recruitment is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher of A-Level Business & Economics to work within a leading secondary school in Hull. The post is to within the department. The position will suit a qualified Teacher or a well-qualified graduate, either a new entrant to the profession or a candidate looking to further their experience.
This school looking for someone who holds QTS and has experience delivering Business to KS5. The role is a part-time position covering 2 days per week to begin October 2023, term time only, with the salary between MPS1 to MPS6 £25,174 to £36,961, this is dependent on experience.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?
  • Have experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 5
  • Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter.
  • Lesson planning, evaluating, and adjusting lessons/work plans/schemes of work as appropriate
  • To be able to use your own initiative
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Qualification in a relevant subject specialism
  • Passionate about education
