James Ray Recruitment is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher of Business Studies to work within a leading School in the Pocklington area.

The position will suit a well-qualified graduate, either a new entrant to the profession or a candidate looking to further their experience.

This school looking for someone who holds QTS and has experience delivering Business up to KS5. The role is a full time position covering up to 5 days per week.

Key Duties:

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Have experience teaching Business Studies up to Key Stage 4 & 5
  • Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS) or be working towards the latter.
  • Lesson planning, evaluating, and adjusting lessons/work plans/schemes of work as appropriate
  • To be able to use your own initiative
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Qualification in a relevant subject specialism
