Salary: £30000-£55000 per year
James Ray Recruitment are recruiting for a forward-thinking accounting firm based in Hull. This well-established business has over 30 specialist staff and are always on the lookout for both experienced accountancy staff and candidates looking for a supporting and nurturing firm to grow their skills. They work with a range of businesses around the UK and pride themselves on a commercial and common-sense approach to advice. In addition to auditing, accounting and tax services they also offer business development and growth advice to achieve their clients goals.
They are looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior or Assistant Manager:
Recently qualified or due to qualify
5 years practice experience in both audit and accountancy
Preferably with a strong audit bias
Completed audits in accordance with the Practice’s audit procedures, with assistance from more senior and junior members of our Team
Monitor the progress of jobs, ensure that budgets are met, address any problems that are encountered to ensure that the audit is finished within budget and on time
Check and supervise the work of more junior staff and complete as necessary
Sign off audit sections, address any problems or queries and complete the file before passing to the Director/Senior Manager for review
