English Teacher

The position is a long-term, temporary placement for one year, with a proposed start date of September 2024. The ideal candidate should hold QTS and have experience teaching English up to KS4 and KS5. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate good levels of behaviour management. The salary ranges from MPS1 to MPS6, £25,174 to £36,961, depending on experience.

Teacher – Flexible working

James Ray Recruitment are working on behalf of numerous local schools and Academy’s in the Hull area to recruit passionate and enthusiastic teachers. We would love to hear from primary teachers who are interested in joining James Ray as a supply teacher whether that is working on a day to day or long-term contracts. Supply work is offered on a day to day, short term, and long-term basis and is very flexible which will suit a range of needs and we would welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

We offer competitive pay rates with a range of £120 – £225 per day dependant on experience and qualifications held. Please note, supply work is subject to availability and will not always be guaranteed.

Year 4 Class Teacher

Year 6 Class Teacher

We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers – the school will require the successful candidate to possess the ability to teach and collaborate on 11+ preparation for their pupils.

About the role:

The Year 6 Teacher will play a vital role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school by delivering engaging and impactful lessons, providing support and guidance, and fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment. You will also need to prepare students for their SATs examinations, ensuring they are familiar with the format and content of the tests.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our teaching team to support within a range of classrooms in achieving their individual outcomes and maximising their learning opportunities. If you have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour, good communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a team we would love to hear from you.

This school is looking for someone who holds a minimum level 4 qualification or above and has the experience working with children across the key stages. The day rate will vary dependent on experience £80 – £100 per day. The position is Monday to Friday term time only.

We have already had a high demand of interest to support them for training days, PPA cover, unforeseen sicknesses and other reasons which will include adhoc or long term requirements starting from Easter 2024. The salary is from £115 – £225, this is dependent on experience.

KS2 Class Teacher

The successful candidate is to have a real commitment to ensure every child achieves their potential. The post is to cover a Maternity Leave on a fixed term basis. Year 3 Class Teacher

As a Class Teacher, you will be able to maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of teaching areas and support for our year 3 children, effectively and consistently plan work to meet and exceed learning criteria and use appropriate teaching and classroom management strategies. Organisation is key to monitor the progress of our pupils, and provide clear goals, constructive feedback and maintain progression records.

This is a fulltime position, starting ASAP until the end of the academic year. This school is looking for someone who holds QTS and has the experience teaching KS2 children. The day rate is £115 – £225 per day, this is dependent on experience.
