James Ray Recruitment is actively seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to become a valued member of a Primary School located in Pickering.

The postholder will need to promote the independence and inclusion of all pupils. Whilst also being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children within the setting.

Key Duties:

Our client is looking for Teaching Assistants who have experience in working in an EYFS setting. Also, someone who can promote the school’s ethos of ‘providing the highest quality education for all children, in a caring, happy environment’. The proposed start date is January 2024 to the end of the academic year. With the possibility of the roles to become permanent.

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • The ideal candidate must be comfortable with completing personal care.
  • Someone who can create and support a calm, caring and stimulating environment.
  • To help all pupils to gain confidence to join in, share and enjoy all aspects of school life.
  • They must have experience of working in the EYFS.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one via James Ray Recruitment.
  • Rights to work in the UK.
